The annual Slumberland Furniture Bedrace for Bridging took place on Saturday, March 12th, at Buck Hill in Burnsville.
Creatively dressed teams of four raced against each other, zipping down the tubing hill atop custom-covered mattresses. The event raised funds for Bridging, a local nonprofit that assists more than 4,000 families annually as they pursue housing stability and fill their homes with hope.
Participants enjoyed friendly racing, chats by the bonfire in the Slumberland Lounge, and awards. Best of all, they helped support Bridging.
A special shout out to Slumberland’s own Autumn Rhodes from Shakopee, who represented Slumberland. Well done, and thanks for participating, Autumn!
Start gearing up for next year… We hope to see more Slumberland employees attend. It truly is a fun and festive event. The best part is you will be helping a great cause!
